Annoying Algorithms

 I never really thought of internet algorithm as a personal curation, but you know what, that's the perfect way to describe it. However, I do have my critiques. I regularly find that the algorithm on some social sites are extremely sensitive, like twitter and tik tok. I found that if I like 2-3 pages of similar content, my entire feed will shift to showing me that related content. I'm not sure if there are settings to adjust this, but it makes me wonder how much different things could be and what kind of information could be shared if users were able to adjust algorithms and just see all different kinds of content daily.

I think that could actually maximize knowledge sharing and diversify what people consume.
